CONFERENCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENT OPTIONS & POLICY:  Payment by credit card will be the only acceptable method received. Credit card charges will appear on your statement as SHRM Greater Baton Rouge or GBR SHRM.

RECEIPTS: Receipts are automatically sent by our registration system when a participant registers and pays online. Please be aware spam filters can block email receipts. For assistance please contact us at gbrshrm@gbrshrm.org.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:  Refunds are at the discretion of the conference committee and may be given if received on or before September 1, 2026 by emailing gbrshrm@gbrshrm.org. Cancellations received on or before the cancellation deadline will receive a refund of all fees paid minus a $50.00 administration fee. Non-attendance at the conference will not be grounds for any or partial refund/credit unless the person has cancelled their registration on or before the cancellation deadline of September 1, 2026. No refund or credit under any circumstances will be available for cancellations outside of the established timeline set in this policy.

ALTERNATE ATTENDEE POLICY: Registrants who are unable to attend may request to have an alternate person registered at no additional cost by notifying us at gbrshrm@gbrshrm.org on or before September 1, 2026. Notification must include the alternate’s full name and contact information, including their email address.  No refund or credit under any circumstances will be available if notification of an alternate is not submitted within the established timeline set in this policy.

PICTURES: Registrants understand that pictures will be taken during the conference. Conference pictures may be used in promotional materials and social media accounts as they relate to promoting the conference and other activities of SHRM Greater Baton Rouge.

REGISTRATION TYPES: 

• Member = an active member of SHRM Greater Baton Rouge
• Non-Member = not a currently active member of SHRM Greater Baton Rouge
• Student = an active Student Member of SHRM Greater Baton Rouge

ATTENDEE REGISTRATION LISTS: The Conference registration mailing list including registrants' names, companies, mailing addresses and email addresses are made available to conference sponsors at the Platinum leven and above. Registrants are provided an opportunity during registration to opt-out of being included on this list.

GENERAL: Our liability is limited to refunds for conference fees only. SHRM Greater Baton Rouge is not responsible for any statements, acts, materials, or omissions by our presenters or participants. The use of audio and video taping device or other recording devices by conference participants are not permitted at any session. Children and unregistered guests are not permitted in the meeting rooms.
